Do you have a lightweight (battery-powered) trimmer and want to maintain your garden in the most subtle and sustainable way? The GreenLine 1.6 mm is specially developed for precision work in smaller gardens. You can mow effortlessly along delicate plants without burdening the soil with microplastics.

Why choose GreenLine round 1.6 mm?

100% biodegradable in the soil

No worries about clippings in your lawn. This 1.6 mm line meets the strict ISO 17556 standard, which means nature breaks down the remnants completely on its own.

Less pollution than nylon trimmer line

Choose a garden free of hidden plastic. GreenLine is the responsible alternative to traditional nylon trimmer line and helps you directly reduce your ecological footprint.

Optimal battery life for your trimmer

Because this line is so light and thin, your motor experiences less resistance. As a result, your trimmer's battery lasts longer on a single charge, while you still achieve a neat result.

Which jobs is 1.6 mm trimmer line suitable for?

Fine grass and small lawns

This line is ideally suited for finer mowing in city gardens or in places where only young grass grows.

Delicate plants

Do you work frequently near young plants or thin flower stems? The 1.6 mm is 'gentle' and has less impact on fragile greenery than thicker lines.

When should you choose 2.0 mm or higher?

Are you dealing with weeds like nettles or thistles? Then the 1.6 mm is too light and we recommend switching to at least 2.0 mm.

Round trimmer line: what are the benefits?

Ease of use and flexibility

Round 1.6 mm line is very flexible. It can be wound onto the smallest spools without effort, which is often necessary for lighter trimmer models.

Prevents welding

Due to the round shape and the specific materials used, the risk of sticking in the trimmer head is minimal, even if you use the trimmer for longer periods at a time.
